This week we’ve been discussing William Shakespeare, so it’s only right to end with a look at one of his best plays. His works are — along with grandchildren and the Sistine Chapel — among the few things in life that are every bit as great as people say they are. If the antiquated language intimidates you, watch one of the BBC productions on Amazon Prime to get the plot, then read one of the Folger editions with their excellent notes to absorb the full meaning. It’s well worth it.
