Many years ago, before it was a thing, I accidentally discovered the Hallmark channel. I was channel-surfing late at night and stumbled on it and couldn’t stop watching. One lonely-overworked-girl-finds-love-at-Christmas movie after another. Terrible, but sadly mesmerizing. It was like screening the obsessive daydreams of a 46-year-old woman who'd been gulled into spinsterhood by idiot feminism.
