I didn’t marry my husband because he was 6’5” (he’s shrunk a bit since then). He also was 185 lbs and looked less than handsome in his too short coveralls and Olive Oyl steel toed boots. I married him because I knew he would take care of me and our children. And he has done that for 40 years and counting.
But in 2025 we are looking at the death of our civilization because of feminism. Those women weren’t content to make women miserable, they had to do it while destroying men. They told generations of women that they don’t need a family to be happy. OK, you want a child, well you don’t need a man to do that. You’re a girl boss, you can do it all, have it all. Oh, you want to marry a potential baby’s (just the one) father. Fine, make sure he is in touch with his feelings. The women are now completely confused and miserable and everyone wonders why they are all on antidepressants. It ain’t rocket science folks. But the solution seems impossible; a return to the Christian faith, a belief in the value of family, and the death of feminism.
Great essay! I look forward to where this conversation will lead us! I think the same thing can be applied in healthcare where I work. No matter how great the technology for applying diagnostics and treatments, nothing can replace the healing power of human connection and the experience of being truly cared for.
"confesses to having paid for black-market surgery to make him taller. This is a thing men really do to try and become more confident and attractive to women."
The most urgent need in the world is righteous men. A righteous man can see the potential in a young, naive, and somewhat immature girl and create a secure place where she can blossom and become beautiful through sacrifice and love as she nurtures. Together they build something eternal. But it can't happen without a man courageous enough to provide preside and protect. Men hold the future in their hands. Women create a place for them to land.
It is a divine pattern. Thank you
For recognizing and drawing it into the conversation.
When I read this article think of the way “materialists” seek to share time & interactions with a partner to approaching & buying house hold goods or furniture.
and it quickly becomes apparent there is no difference at all.
It’s the same way I would buy a refrigerator and discard it .
Which is sad because it doesn’t matter whether the quality of that furniture is or the number of items purchased. For what ever one brings over the threshold you’re still living on your own .
Souls need a place in an evolving relationship , furniture needs a place in an empty room !
One needs constant interaction, while the other collects dust .
Don’t let your soul collect dust
PS : though a refrigerator can remind (metaphorically speaking I might add) you of what a relationship takes. As with a refrigerator , you get out of it what you put in but if you neglect what’s in there it’ll go off .
But don’t take it out on a date for there’s no conversation and you’ll get strange looks .
& like the refrigerators in “martialists” it’ll suspect you’re cheating on it using a refrigerator at another restaurant. Then everything you’ve put into it goes rotten (I’m assuming that’s the plot line in the film , haven’t watched it )
I grew up in the ‘70’s where the sexual revolution was in full swing. Though looking back most of the boys and girls I knew were virgins. Much more innocent than they are now. But it’s a dangerous time for a young girl. I

It didn’t take a genius to see that women frowning upon “toxic masculinity” would one day be looking for that very “toxicity.”
Oh, BTW, the only time I ever took an IQ test it was 163. Too bad I’ve forgotten half of what I used to know. 🤷🏼♂️
Edit:!I forgot to say, my 163 is proof IQ tests aren’t worth a darn.
